Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lettings Maintenance Manager to oversee, support and lead the established team in the maintenance department and support the upkeep of rental properties within our lettings portfolio. This role is vital in ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant with safety standards, and ready for new tenants occupation. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, leadership skills and a proactive approach to property management. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across multiple rental properties to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Assist as a point of contact for maintenance requests from tenants, property managers and landlords
- Utilize property management software to track work orders, update maintenance records, and generate reports to monitor progress.
- Conduct regular property visits as required to assess condition, identify potential issues, and plan preventative maintenance strategies.
- Manage the experienced team, offering direction, support and assistance efficiently and to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate data entry for all maintenance activities, work orders, and tenant communications within administrative systems.
- Uphold professional phone etiquette when communicating with tenants, landlords and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property or facilities management with a focus on lettings or residential properties preferred.
- Strong proficiency in property management software or similar
- Demonstrated office experience with excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Previous administrative experience supporting maintenance operations, and leading and managing a team.
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in your role and workload, in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures, safety regulations, and landlord or client management practices is preferred.
