We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join VJ Technology Ltd in Ashford on a full time, permanent basis, Monday - Friday - 12pm - 9pm.
40 hours per week, with a one hour unpaid lunch break each day.

Your purpose
· To ensure the receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock inside the warehouse is efficient, accurate and timely managed. To maintain a clean and safe working environment and to be an asset to the day to day goings within the branch.
Your day-to-day role
· Receive goods inwards, unload and store in the correct location
· Prepare orders according to sales requirements and Safely load onto vehicles
· Sign for deliveries and receipt of stock and report breakages/damages
· Maintain the warehouse and stock in a clean and tidy condition
· Carry out daily checks and maintain fork lifts and other mechanical handling equipment in a safe condition
· Work in a manner which ensures the safety of self and colleagues
· Any other reasonable duties within the individual’s capabilities.
Skills you possess:
· Forklift Licence (desirable)
· Good data accuracy
· Numerate & Basic IT Skills
· Knowledge of basic health & safety requirements (preferable)
· Previous Yard or Warehouse experience (preferable)

Special Considerations
· Whilst it is envisaged that the role operates Monday to Friday there may be a requirement for weekend and shift work.
