We’re looking for an experienced Site Agent to support the successful delivery of civil engineering and rail projects. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys managing site operations, leading teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Location: Amesbury (near Solstice Park)
Travel: Travel required to project sites (primarily within the M25 area)
Hours: Full-time

What you’ll be doing
- Managing site operations to deliver projects in line with programme, budget and client expectations
- Overseeing health & safety, quality and environmental standards on site
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Supporting project planning, including risk assessments, method statements and permits
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, inspection and testing requirements
- Managing site documentation, records and reporting (e.g. diaries, progress updates)
- Liaising with clients, designers and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain progress
- Planning resources, materials and plant in line with programme requirements
- Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring CDM compliance
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a Construction Manager or Site Agent role
- Background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance requirements
- Confident leadership and people management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both on site and with clients
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience working within the rail sector
- Knowledge of Network Rail requirements and standards
- Relevant safety qualifications (SMSTS or equivalent)
- Experience managing subcontractors and complex site operations
