Retail Assistant
(Must be flexible to working hours/days)
An opportunity has arisen for a proactive Stock and Retail Assistant to join our team at ALPA Pet Warehouse.
In this role you need to deliver an excellent customer service, and help maintain the highest standards on our shop floor .
An ability to work well under pressure whilst prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines is essential.
You need to be self-motivated, show initiative, be confident, organised and a strong team-player whilst still being able to work alone.
Duties include
Serving customers and dealing with enquiries when needed. Offering excellent customer service at all times.
Arranging products on the shelves and on promotional displays ensuring full stock rotation.
Keeping the store clean and tidy.
We regularly take delivery/collect pallets of goods which will involve unloading up to 50 x 20kg sacks and putting them away in store in one go. Must be capable of doing this on a regular basis.
Experience not essential as full training will be given.
Must be trustworthy and reliable. We are a small team and time keeping is very important.

22.5 hours over three days. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Occasional more hours to cover holidays etc.
An initial paid trial period of eight weeks.
We are a family run company and small team so you will need to be flexible to working hours and happy to cover for staff holidays/sickness etc.
Due to staff shortages we will not be able to reply to every applicant but please be assured every application will be considered.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
