In addition to supporting the HV network, you will play a key role in maintaining the site's Fibre Optic Communications Network and internal CCTV systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and security across multiple locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys working in a technically challenging environment, solving complex electrical issues, and contributing to the ongoing development and reliability of essential infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform regular maintenance across the Imerys Power Distribution Network, including substations, overhead lines, and switchgear.
- Handle the installation of new transformers, overhead lines, and switchgear as required.
- Execute installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the Imerys Fibre Network.
- Manage fault finding, maintenance, and installation for the CCTV Network.
- Deliver precise cable location services to support business operations.

- Possession of an electrical indentured apprenticeship qualification or its equivalent.
- Proven experience or a strong willingness to undergo training in the installation and maintenance of both HV and LV distribution systems, encompassing protection systems, metering, and cable jointing/termination.
- Extensive background in three-phase industrial wiring, motor control circuits, and general electrical maintenance.
- A valid, full driving licence, with trailer-towing capabilities considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities.
- Capability to operate effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Comfortable performing duties in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Flexibly prepared to work overtime or outside regular hours when necessary.
- Capable of working safely at heights
