We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our company and train to be a skilled coach driver.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. We will help you to obtain a PCV licence and develop excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the safety and comfort of all passengers.
This role is not for the faint hearted you will need to be able to work a five day week but when our customers need you, working on weekends, early mornings and late nights and maybe be away from home when you may be on tour.
We have a variety of work all UK based , sporting events ( both teams and supporters), Daily Workers Contracts, Some Express service work at busy times and general private hires, staff outings, school trips and weddings
Responsibilities
- Operate our modern new fleet of coaches in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. in the UK and Europe
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any delays.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, loading of any luggage ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the coach throughout the day.
- Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Keep accurate passenger counts as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in a driving role would be advantageous.
- Excellent driving skills with no more than 3 points on your licence and previous bans from driving
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and team members.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
