We provide care to the community supporting individuals to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes and Extra Care schemes. Job Summary
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our Community Care team. You will provide high-quality personal care and practical support to Clients within their own homes, enabling them to remain independent while receiving the assistance they need in a safe and supportive environment.
We provide support in Kidderminster, Stourport, Bewdley, Cleobury Mortimer and surrounding rural areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care in line with individual care plans.
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Support clients with medication (where trained), meal preparation, and daily living activities.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect at all times.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure excellent standards of care.
Requirements
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills to complete electronic care records.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
