We are looking for a fun, reliable and confident Support Worker/Personal Assistant to support a young man with learning disabilities in the Stocksfield area.
This is a rewarding role helping him build confidence, develop independence and re-engage with activities he enjoys in the community.
He is non-verbal and communicates through gestures and a communication book. He enjoys activities such as swimming, cycling, gym sessions, cafés, horse riding, arts and crafts, woodwork and days out.
Main Duties

Supporting community access and social activities

Supporting with personal care, toileting and meal preparation

About You
You will be:

Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licence

Own vehicle suitable for transporting a passenger over 6ft tall

Business use insurance
Hours
-
3 hours per week during term time (39 weeks)

8 hours per week during school holidays (13 weeks)

Flexible working days and times to be agreed
Additional Information
Enhanced DBS required (paid by employer).
Full training provided, including safeguarding, moving and handling, medication awareness and person-specific training.
