Personal Qualities
Ashley Cross and Bay Tree Montessori are 2 Ofsted Outstanding nurseries looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated Cook with a love of children to work within our team of exceptional child carers for 25hours a week at our Bay Tree Montessori setting in Charminster.
You will be expected to prepare and cook lunches and help prepare a menu for our 2 settings from Monday to Friday.
The expectation for this role will be to order for, prepare and cook lunches for both nurseries whilst taking a small group of children for around 45 mins of your day and facilitate their understanding of food, nutrition and food preparation for cooking.
You will need to have a calm, considered manner at all times and work well within a team and independently.
Salary: £19,318 per annum based on 25hours per week, 08:30am - 13:30pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year.
Qualifications and Experience: Experience in a commercial kitchen, working with children and completion of a Food Hygiene certificate are essential for this role. Health & Safety certificate desirable. Qualified Cook/Chef is desirable.
Role Requirement:
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Comfortable and confident driving to and from different locations in the local area.
- Access to your own vehicle with appropriate business use insurance (mileage expenses covered).
