Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of warehouse floors, aisles, loading docks, and storage areas using appropriate cleaning tools and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment for all staff.
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed accurately.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or safety hazards immediately.
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with periodic deep-cleaning projects such as window washing, high dusting, or equipment sanitization.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate cleaning schedules that minimize disruption to daily operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of cleaning tools, supplies, and sanitation standards.
