We are looking to appoint a Programme Manager and Partnership Lead for MindTech Bridge, a new national initiative funded through the UK Government’s Mental Health Goals programme. The Mental Health Goals programme brings together the NHS, industry, researchers and patients to accelerate precision psychiatry and deliver valuable new treatments that work for those who need them. MindTech Bridge is embedded within the Digital Workstream and aims to develop new infrastructure to support the development and adoption of digital and AI mental health technologies at scale.
Working closely with the MindTech Bridge Leadership team (Prof Chris Hollis, Dr Aaron Kandola and Barnaby Perks), you will provide operational and strategic leadership to ensure the successful delivery of key elements of MindTech Bridge. A major focus of this role is leading the development, launch and management of a national consortium of NHS organisations to collectively identify, test and implement high-potential digital mental health technologies at scale. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the co-design, formalisation, and operational leadership of the consortium, as well as engaging key NHS stakeholders, planning events and workshops, and securing members.
You will support the delivery of other MindTech Bridge innovation projects, including the design of a novel emerging mental health technology and NHS demand signal monitoring system and the development of new international partnerships for UK innovators to scale and collaborate globally.
You will also act as the visible and accessible first point of contact for MindTech Bridge, promoting our activities nationally and internationally. This will include liaison with the programme funder and ensuring timely reporting on finances, outputs and deliverables. We are seeking someone with strong project management experience, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain partnerships across complex systems. Knowledge of NHS procurement, implementation, commissioning or service transformation is essential.
You will join the vibrant and Digital Mental Health group within the School of Medicine, working alongside the NIHR MindTech HealthTech Research Centre and the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre.
MindTech Bridge is a national programme with partners across the UK and so this role may involve regular travel, including overnight stays. We therefore welcome applications from candidates based outside the Nottingham area as there is the potential for flexible and hybrid arrangements.
This vacancy is full time (36.25 hours weekly) on a fixed-term basis for 3 years.
