Job Overview
Kidz Hub Day Nursery, a welcoming and nurturing setting that opened in September 2025, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team.
This is a hands-on role, working directly with children to support their learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework. You will play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for all children.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children in line with the EYFS framework.
- Work directly with children, supporting their development through play and planned activities.
- Ensure staff-to-child ratios are maintained at all times in accordance with EYFS requirements.
- Act as a key person, supporting children’s development and maintaining learning journeys and observations.
- Work closely with colleagues, the Deputy Manager, and Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth running of the room.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements at all times.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare – essential.
- Paediatric First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one, is essential.
- GCSE English (grade 4/C or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child development.
- A caring, positive, and team-oriented approach with good communication skills.
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
