We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Responsibilities
- Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Diagnosing electrical issues using hand tools and power tools, then implementing effective solutions.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Ensuring all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults.
- Maintaining detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
- Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precise work execution.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
