We’re looking for an experienced barista to join our team for busy weekends.
This is a role for someone who knows their way around a coffee machine and takes real pride in producing consistently great coffee. Ideally, you’ll have experience working in an independent café serving specialty coffee and be confident dialing in, maintaining quality, and working efficiently during peak service.
You’ll be a key part of our weekend team; engaging with customers, delivering excellent service, and keeping standards high even when it’s busy.
This isn’t a training role. We need someone who can step in, take ownership of the coffee offering, and deliver from day one.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Preparing high-quality espresso-based drinks to a consistent standard
- Dialling in and adjusting grind throughout service
- Maintaining coffee equipment and cleanliness of the station
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Delivering warm, confident customer service
- Supporting front of house during busy periods
- Keeping your section organised, clean, and running smoothly
- Upholding high standards of presentation and efficiency
- Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive space for our diverse customers and employees
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven barista experience (essential)
- Confident working on a commercial espresso machine
- Experience with specialty coffee (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Calm, efficient approach under pressure
- Friendly, professional, and team-focused
HOURS
- Weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday)
- Additional hours may be available during the week over the summer
