Pawtraits | Luxury Dog Care and Grooming
Freelance or part-time, with potential to grow into a long-term role
UK-based preferred | Hybrid/remote
About Pawtraits
Pawtraits is an award-winning dog grooming salon and emerging luxury dog-care brand.
Having developed our first retail product from inside the salon, we are now entering an exciting stage of growth across Amazon, direct-to-consumer ecommerce, social media, influencer partnerships and future retail.
Our ambition is to build Pawtraits into one of the UK’s most recognisable premium pet-care brands. The aesthetic is elevated, editorial and modern, combining professional performance with the emotional connection people have with their dogs.
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Brand Growth & Content Lead who can help turn that vision into a clear, consistent and results-driven marketing strategy.
The Role
This is not a traditional social media role focused solely on posting content.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the Pawtraits marketing function and connect brand strategy, content, community, product launches, influencers, ecommerce and paid advertising.
You will work closely with the founder to translate ideas into structured campaigns, create and manage a forward-planned content calendar, coordinate creative production and ensure that every marketing activity supports measurable business growth.
The ideal person will understand how to build a premium lifestyle or beauty-inspired brand while still being highly commercial and comfortable working with sales data, conversion rates and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the overall marketing strategy for Pawtraits.
- Translate the founder’s vision into clear campaigns, content pillars and launch plans.
- Maintain a consistent luxury brand identity across all customer touchpoints.
- Identify opportunities to grow brand awareness, sales, customer retention and community.
- Help position Pawtraits as a leading premium dog-care brand rather than simply a grooming salon.
Content Strategy and Management
- Produce a detailed content calendar at least one month in advance.
- Plan a balanced weekly mix of educational, aspirational, lifestyle, community and product-focused content.
- Write strong, distinctive copy that reflects the Pawtraits voice.
- Brief and coordinate photography, video, UGC and graphic-design requirements.
- Repurpose content effectively across Instagram, TikTok, email, Amazon and the Pawtraits website.
- Ensure content feels current, editorial and commercially purposeful.
Product Launches and Ecommerce
- Create launch strategies for new Pawtraits products and collections.
- Plan pre-launch, launch and post-launch activity.
- Support the growth of Pawtraits through Shopify, Amazon and future retail partners.
- Review customer behaviour, website performance and sales data to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate on product positioning, names, messaging, bundles and promotional campaigns.
- Help improve conversion across product pages, social content and email marketing.
Influencer, PR and Community
- Identify suitable pet, lifestyle and beauty-inspired creators who align with the brand.
- Manage gifting, influencer communication, deliverables and follow-up.
- Develop ongoing brand ambassador and UGC relationships.
- Create community-led campaigns that encourage engagement, reviews and repeat purchases.
- Identify relevant PR, partnership and brand-collaboration opportunities.
Paid Media and Performance
- Work alongside a paid-media specialist or manage Meta and Amazon advertising where appropriate.
- Ensure paid campaigns are supported by strong creative, messaging and landing pages.
- Monitor performance and make clear recommendations based on the data.
- Produce a concise monthly KPI dashboard covering:
- Revenue attributed to marketing
- Website traffic and conversion
- Customer acquisition cost
- Return on advertising spend
- Email growth and performance
- Social reach and engagement
- Influencer and UGC performance
- Amazon performance
- Key actions and priorities for the following month
The Person We Are Looking For
You will ideally have experience working with a premium beauty, wellness, lifestyle, fashion, ecommerce or pet-care brand.
You will be:
- Highly organised and able to work at least four weeks ahead.
- Commercially aware and motivated by measurable growth.
- Visually strong, with an excellent understanding of premium branding.
- Able to turn broad founder ideas into clear plans and completed campaigns.
- Confident taking ownership rather than waiting to be continually directed.
- A strong copywriter with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable interpreting marketing, ecommerce and advertising data.
- Proactive, resourceful and genuinely excited by early-stage brand building.
- Familiar with current social-media trends without making the brand feel trend-led or disposable.
- Able to balance creativity with strategy, deadlines and commercial priorities.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience managing marketing or content for a consumer brand.
- Experience producing and managing structured monthly content calendars.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, email marketing and ecommerce.
- Experience planning product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Evidence of growing brand awareness, engagement, traffic or sales.
- Experience managing creators, influencers or UGC.
- Confidence working with analytics and reporting against KPIs.
- A portfolio or examples of relevant brands and campaigns.
Desirable Experience
- Amazon marketplace or Amazon PPC experience.
- Shopify and Klaviyo experience.
- Meta advertising knowledge.
- Experience securing press coverage or retail partnerships.
- Experience within beauty, luxury, wellness, lifestyle or premium pet care.
- Existing relationships with content creators, photographers or videographers.
What Success Looks Like

- Improved coordination across social media, Amazon, Shopify, email and influencers.
