We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel valued throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately, offering menu recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest experience
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change or receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Assist in food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards
- Manage guest enquiries promptly, resolving any issues with professionalism and courtesy
- Support team members during busy periods, ensuring smooth operation of the service flow
- Promote specials and new menu items to maximise sales opportunities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated individuals
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive attitude towards guest services and teamwork
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
