At Roslyns, we support independent hospitality businesses across the UK to grow through expert financial guidance and business insight. We’re now looking for a Business Development Manager Designate to join our team covering Edinburgh and the East of Scotland.
This is your opportunity to step into a structured route toward becoming a full Business Development Manager. You’ll join us with a the initial objective of working towards a portfolio of around 40 clients, progressing to 70–80 clients once fully established as a BDM. Progression is reviewed regularly, and salary increases in line with that journey (up to £35,000).
What you’ll be doing
- Drive new business and strengthen existing client relationships
- Promote Roslyns’ services to local hospitality businesses
- Build connections with pub company regional managers and prospects
- Support clients’ profitability through P&L reviews, business planning and cost-saving advice
- Act as the main point of contact for your portfolio
- Use commercial insight to help clients maximise revenue
What we’re looking for
- A natural communicator who builds trust and rapport
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own diary
- An analytical mindset and interest in business performance
- Competent with MS Office, especially Excel
- Comfortable working independently and on-site with clients
- Passionate about helping businesses succeed
