We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician (MMPT) to join our expanding clinical pharmacy team within one of the UK’s leading NHS Trusts. This role is based across St Mary’s Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital, where you will play a key role in delivering high quality clinical pharmacy services at the frontline of patient care.
You will work closely with Emergency Medicine, Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Elderly Medicine wards, supporting medicines optimisation and safe use of medicines in a demanding and rewarding clinical setting.
As part of a forward thinking, multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will collaborate with pharmacists, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals to ensure the safe, effective and efficient use of medicines. You will have a strong focus on patient education, medicines adherence, discharge planning and service development initiatives, helping to improve patient outcomes and overall hospital journeys.

Supporting medicines reconciliation on admission
Conducting patient consultations and adherence assessment
Educating patients and staff on medicines optimisation and safe practice
Acting as a role model and mentor to junior staff and trainee pharmacy technicians
Participating in audit, service evaluation and quality improvement initiative
