WORKS & QUALITY MANAGER

Jafco Tools Ltd is looking for an experienced and hands-on Works & Quality Manager to take responsibility for our day-to-day manufacturing operations and quality function.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring production is safe, efficient, on schedule and consistently meets the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production planning, scheduling and day-to-day shop-floor operations.
- Lead quality control, product testing, NCRs and corrective actions.
- Manage and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and audit programme.
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are implemented and maintained.
- Manage production personnel, training and competency requirements.
- Coordinate machinery maintenance and minimise downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, waste reduction and right-first-time manufacturing.
- Monitor and report on production, quality, maintenance, H&S and operational performance.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management environment.
- Experience with quality management and ISO 9001.
- Strong production planning and shop-floor management skills.
- Experience managing audits, NCRs and corrective actions.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Must live within 15-20 miles of WV14 9NE.

Reporting to: General Manager
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
