Pilton Community College is seeking a highly organised and proactive Farm Administrator to join our dedicated farm provision team. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to support a specialist educational setting that delivers hands-on learning experiences for students.
You will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day administration of the farm, ensuring effective communication with students, parents, staff, and external partners while maintaining accurate records and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of student farm sessions and attendance
Manage timetables and coordinate student participation
Communicate with parents/carers via electronic systems
Process orders and liaise with the finance team, including invoicing external groups
Support data input relating to student progress and key information
Handle incoming correspondence and direct appropriately
Liaise with external organisations and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, and school procedures
Provide a professional and welcoming service to students and visitors

We are looking for someone who:
Has strong administrative experience and excellent organisational skills
Is confident using ICT systems, including Microsoft 365
Can prioritise workload and work both independently and as part of a team
Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
Is adaptable, flexible and able to manage competing demands
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
Essential Requirements
Good numeracy and literacy skills (minimum Level 2 equivalent)
Experience working in an administrative role
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
