Working as part of a small team you will help provide valuable support to the workshop and the wider business.
Day to day work will include:
- Responsibility for booking in all deliveries accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring any queries or discrepancies are escalated as appropriate
- Maintaining the communication flow within the system to ensure the appropriate personnel are correctly notified of goods received and actions required
- Ensuring deliveries are accurately labelled and correctly stored after booking in, and all paperwork is filed or passed on in a timely manner
- Transporting wheelchairs and other products between the workshop and storage facility and other locations as required
- Steam cleaning and decontaminating wheelchairs
- Providing general workshop assistance as required
- Assisting in maintaining adequate stock levels of all workshop consumables (e.g. batteries, tyres, inner tubes etc.)
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
Key requirements for the role:
- Experience within a stores or workshop environment
- Good attention to detail
- Self motivated and driven to deliver the best possible service
- Strong organizational skills to be able to manage a variety of tasks
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with colleagues throughout the business
- A flexible approach to tasks and adaptable to change
- Technical/mechanical experience is a bonus but not essential
The role is based in our offices in Long Hanborough, Oxfordshire. Some travel may be required on an ad hoc basis (van provided). A full driving licence is required
The role is full time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday

Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
