Mobilisation Manager (CQC Registered)
Location: Office based – Letchworth Garden City (with travel across London & Home Counties as required)
Hours: Full Time | 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 DOE | 29 days annual leave (incl. Bank Holidays + birthday off)
Abacus Care & Support is a growing Supported Living provider, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives.
We’re looking for a confident and proactive Mobilisation Manager to lead the successful setup and delivery of new care packages and supported living services.
What you’ll do:
You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end mobilisation process, ensuring safe, compliant and person-centred transitions for People We Support. Working collaboratively across teams and with external partners, you’ll drive the successful launch and embedding of new services.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and project manage the mobilisation of new services from referral through to go-live and stabilisation
- Complete and oversee referral assessments with commissioners, local authorities and stakeholders
- Coordinate multi-agency teams to ensure smooth, well-planned transitions
- Ensure properties are ready, safe and appropriately adapted to meet individual needs
- Work closely with HR, Operations and Training to ensure staffing, onboarding and service readiness
- Monitor mobilisation timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies
- Oversee care package design to ensure it is person-centred and tailored to complex needs
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding practices and organisational policies
- Conduct service readiness checks, audits and quality assurance prior to launch
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, families, housing providers and external partners
- Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership
What we’re looking for:
- Must be CQC Registered
- Experience mobilising services or managing transitions in Supported Living or adult social care
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and person-centred care
- Proven ability to lead, coordinate and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Proactive, resilient and driven to improve and develop services
