Duties

- Conduct internal audits to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the organisation’s operations.
- Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports in accordance with statutory deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as accounting and banking to implement compliance policies effectively.
- Develop, update, and communicate compliance procedures and training materials for staff.
- Investigate compliance breaches or irregularities and facilitate appropriate corrective measures.
- Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, audits, and reports for audit readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in compliance management within a corporate environment, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal audit processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and frameworks.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external regulators.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in compliance, accounting, or related fields are highly desirable.
