Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a range of dishes according to menu specifications and customer preferences
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
- Organise ingredients and kitchen equipment efficiently to optimise workflow
- Support the team in serving food to customers when required, providing excellent customer service
- Follow recipes accurately and contribute to menu development with creative ideas
- Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
- Previous restaurant or catering experience is desirable but not essential for motivated learners
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak times
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
