About the role
Buston & Maughan are seeking an experienced and reliable plumber to join our Voids and Repairs team, working across social housing properties. This is a hands-on role carrying out a variety of plumbing works to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard and ready for occupation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
- Complete first-fix plumbing installations in kitchens and bathrooms
- Undertake plumbing works within void properties to prepare homes for new tenants
- Install, repair and replace pipework, taps, toilets, baths, showers etc
- Ensure all work is completed safely, in line with current regulations and company standards
- Provide a high-quality service
- Maintain accurate records of work completed in the internal job management systems
About You
- As a minimum, NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as a plumber, preferably within social housing, repairs, maintenance or void properties
- Ability to carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs and installations independently
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
