Warehouse Assistant – Tyre Wholesale (Portsmouth)
Full-Time | Family-Run Business | Saturday Morning Rota
We are a friendly, well‑established family-run tyre wholesale business based in Portsmouth, and we’re looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team.
About the Role
You’ll be involved in the day‑to‑day running of the depot, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring orders are picked, loaded, and organised efficiently. The right candidate will also be confident enough to run the depot when the manager is on holiday, ensuring smooth operations in their absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily warehouse duties, including picking, loading, and stock handling
- Helping organise deliveries and ensuring the depot runs efficiently
- Basic computer work (training provided)
- Covering depot responsibilities when the manager is away
- Some driving may be required (local deliveries)
- Working Saturday mornings on a rota basis
What We’re Looking For
- A proactive, dependable individual with good attention to detail
- Basic computer knowledge (helpful but not essential)
- Ability to work well as part of a small, friendly team
- Willingness to take on responsibility when needed
- A full UK driving licence is an advantage
