Pool & Hot Tub Technician – North Devon
Permanent Position | Immediate Start | 31 Hours per Week + On-Call Rota
Key Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Must be aged 30+ for insurance purposes
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and working in confined spaces
- Able to work weekends, bank holidays and participate in an on-call rota
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in hot tub maintenance, plumbing, electrical work or general maintenance is desirable but not essential – full training provided

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Pool & Hot Tub Technician to join our growing team. The role involves carrying out holiday let changeovers, swimming pool maintenance, hot tub servicing and repairs, and supporting our inflatable hot tub hire operation across North Devon.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards and can provide excellent customer service while working under pressure.
Key ResponsibilitiesHot Tub Maintenance & Repairs
- Empty, clean, refill and chemically balance hot tubs
- Carry out full hot tub servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose faults and repair hot tubs, replacing components where required
- Repair and maintain inflatable hot tub pumps
- Order replacement parts and materials as required
- Assist with the delivery, installation and removal of hot tubs
Swimming Pool Maintenance
- Vacuum, clean and maintain swimming pools
- Test and adjust water chemistry to required standards
- Identify and report faults or maintenance issues
Inflatable Hot Tub Hire
- Deliver, install, collect and clean inflatable hot tubs
- Carry out chemical testing and safety checks
- Ensure equipment is maintained to company standards
General Duties
- Carry out basic property maintenance tasks as required
- Respond professionally and efficiently to customer requests
- Report faults, issues and maintenance requirements to management
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and health & safety requirements
- Support the wider team and undertake additional duties to ensure smooth business operations
Working Hours
31 hours per week:
- Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
The role includes:
- Weekend working
- Bank holiday working
- Participation in an on-call rota
- Additional hours during busy periods and operational requirements
