Trainee Quayside Operators – Join PSG

PSG is recruiting Trainee Quayside Operators to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to build a rewarding career in the ports and heavy lift & transport industry.
Our accelerated training programme will provide you with hands-on experience across all the key disciplines required to operate safely in a port environment
What you'll learn
- Rigging, slinging and banking loads
- Safe lifting techniques
- Operation of a wide range of specialist plant and equipment, including:
- Forklifts
- Telehandlers
- Mobile cranes
- Crawler cranes
- Heavy transport operations, including:
- Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs)
- Heavy haulage
- Abnormal load movements
What we're looking for
We're seeking enthusiastic, committed individuals with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn. Previous experience isn't essential—we're looking for people with the right mindset who want to develop a long-term career in one of the Scotland's fastest-growing industries.
