I'm currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join my team and work on a temporary supply basis with Zen Educate in a SEND school in Northumberland.
This is an excellent opportunity to build valuable experience supporting children and young people with additional needs while exploring career pathways in education, psychology, and related professions.
The Role
- Position: Learning Support Assistant
- Location: Northumberland
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Contract: Temporary supply
You'll be supporting both primary and secondary-aged learners with a range of complex needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in helping students access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their potential in a supportive educational environment.

Requirements
- A degree in Psychology (or due to graduate shortly).
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
- A positive, resilient, and proactive approach.
- A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply and pay for one before starting.
