Job Overview
We're looking to recruit a Digital Content Support role within our team and help bring client content strategies to life across social media, websites, and campaigns. You'll get involved in everything from ideation and copywriting through to design, scheduling, and publishing - working closely with Account Managers and the wider team to keep content moving smoothly and consistently on-brand.
This role suits someone who loves creating content, has a sharp eye for design and detail, and is genuinely curious about what makes digital audiences engage.
This is a new role resulting from company growth and an expanding portfolio of clients which has huge opportunities to grow and progress your career in a dynamic successful business.
Hybrid working: The successful candidate will be required to work from our centrally located Reading office on Mondays and Thursdays, with the remaining days worked remotely.
Contract: This role is initially offered on a contract basis, with the potential to become a permanent position.
Content Creation & Ideation
- Support the creation of social media posts, articles, digital marketing assets, newsletters and campaign assets for a range of clients
- Generate and pitch content ideas that align with each client's brand and audience
- Use keyword research to write clear, engaging copy optimised for search engines across formats and channels
- Effective use of AI tools to support the production of imagery and content, whilst maintaining quality and that all important human touch and an appropriate level of review and refinement
Scheduling & Approvals
- Support the approval process for content across client social media channels, chasing sign-off where needed
- Populate and maintain content schedules/calendars, ensuring posts go out on time and in the right sequence
- Use social media scheduling tools to plan and publish content
Design & Brand Asset Management
- Create content in line with each client's brand guidelines and approved style
- Research for campaigns and content themes
- Organise and maintain client folders and assets in Canva
- Edit and adapt existing assets for different formats and platforms
Website & CMS
- Upload and edit content on client website CMS platforms
- Ensure web content is accurate, on-brand, and published correctly
Campaigns & Continuous Learning
- Support the wider team on campaign projects, from concept through to delivery
- Ad-hoc support with UX tasks such as audience and competitor research
- Research emerging content trends, formats, and tools, bringing fresh ideas back to the team
- Stay current on best practice in AI-assisted content creation
Skills & Experience
Essential (2-3 years experience)
- Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone of voice across different clients and brands
- A good eye for design and confidence working in Canva
- Enthusiasm and curiosity around using AI tools to support content and image generation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Genuinely passionate about digital engagement and communications
- A collaborative and enthusiastic approach to content creation and team collaboration
Desirable
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Metricool, HootSuite, Social Pilot)
- Experience editing or uploading content via a website CMS (e.g. WordPress)
- Experience editing video content in CapCut
- Previous experience in an agency environment or working with clients
- An interest in or understanding of SEO, paid media, or CRO from a content perspective
