We are looking for an experienced and reliable Pizza and Kebab Chef to join our busy takeaway team in Greenock.
The successful applicant must be confident working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen and able to prepare high-quality pizzas and kebabs consistently.
Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking pizzas, kebabs and other takeaway food.
Preparing fresh ingredients, sauces and toppings.
Operating pizza ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
Following food hygiene, health and safety standards.
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and fully stocked.
Managing orders efficiently during busy periods.
Maintaining consistent portion sizes, presentation and food quality.
Working positively as part of a small team.
Requirements
Previous experience as a pizza chef, kebab chef or takeaway chef.
Strong knowledge of pizza preparation and kebab cooking.
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Reliable, punctual and hard-working.
Able to work evenings and weekends.
Right to work in the UK.
Experience with dough preparation, hand-stretched pizzas, kebab preparation and high-volume takeaway service would be an advantage.
