We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairdressing and beauty, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your advanced skills in styling, barbering, and colour techniques, while also mentoring junior staff and contributing to the overall success of our salon. The Senior Hair Stylist will be responsible for creating customised looks that meet clients’ individual needs, ensuring a welcoming environment, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Providing expert hair styling services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments.
- Performing barbering services such as fades, trims, and grooming for male clients.
- Offering additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
- Mentoring junior stylists and trainees, sharing knowledge and fostering professional development.
- Managing store operations efficiently, including front desk duties such as appointment scheduling and client consultations.
- Upselling products and services to optimise client experience and salon revenue.
- Building strong relationships with clients through personalised consultations and excellent customer service.
- Ensuring all tools, equipment, and workstations are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards.
- Assisting in store management tasks when required to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in hairdressing with a comprehensive portfolio of styles.
- Strong knowledge of colour techniques, styling methods, and barbering skills.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to mentor junior staff whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery.
- Proficiency in eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling products and services tactfully to clients.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional approach.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently throughout the day.
- Store management experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is important.

Pay: £5,000.00-£50,691.54 per year
