Duties
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with safety standards and company procedures
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in kitchen tasks when required
- Provide friendly and professional service, creating a welcoming environment for all customers
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or similar roles is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash register operations
- Experience in kitchen or culinary environments is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer experience and sales
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Organised with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally know mandarin or cantonese
- WORK IS ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY (Bank holidays you may be required to work)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50-£15.50 per hour
