We are looking for a Key Stage 1, Maternity Cover Teacher, who will fully engage children in their learning and make a positive contribution to all aspects of RLA life. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the developmental needs of early learners
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour management strategies
- Assess and monitor individual student progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share best practices
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
Skills
- Proven experience or strong knowledge in early childhood education principles
- Excellent behaviour management skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to adapt methods to diverse learners
- Effective communication skills to engage children, parents, and colleagues confidently
- Organised with the ability to plan lessons efficiently and manage classroom routines effectively
- Passionate about supporting young children's growth and eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment
Pay: £32,916.00-£45,352.00 per year
