UK Care Team is a large, established and busy domiciliary care provider. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily running of our office and lead our Coordination, Compliance/Quality and HR/Workforce teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily office operations and ensure departments work effectively together.
- Oversee safe rotas, staffing capacity, service delivery and the mobilisation of new care packages.
- Monitor care plans, risk assessments, reviews, medication records and quality audits.
- Handle complaints, safeguarding concerns and incidents from initial response through to investigation, findings, actions and learning.
- Escalate significant risks promptly to the Director/Registered Manager.
- Monitor recruitment, training, competency and workforce compliance.
- Provide team supervision and manage employee performance.
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements and commissioner contracts.
- Support business growth by securing suitable care packages, using available capacity and developing efficient care runs.
- Monitor KPIs and provide operational reports to the Director/Registered Manager.
- Share senior-management escalation cover and undertake field-based work when required.
Essential Requirements
- Management experience within regulated domiciliary care.
- Demonstrable experience handling and investigating complaints, safeguarding concerns and incidents.
- Level 4 or Level 5 adult social care qualification, or Level 3 with substantial management experience.
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, care planning, medicines and safe recruitment.
- Experience managing rotas, quality assurance and employees.
- Strong leadership, communication, investigation and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references.
Experience using Access People Planner or Access Care Planning would be advantageous.
Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
