As we continue to grow, we are expanding our services to support individuals with complex clinical needs. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Clinical Lead Nurse / Clinical Manager to lead the development of our clinical services and ensure the highest standards of care, governance, and compliance.

The Role
As Clinical Lead Nurse / Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for the clinical leadership of our complex care services. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and senior leadership team to develop safe, effective, and high-quality nursing-led domiciliary care.
The role: Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and implementation of our complex care services.
- Undertaking comprehensive clinical assessments and developing person-centred care plans.
- Assessing and supporting clients with complex health needs, ensuring care is delivered safely and effectively.
- Providing clinical supervision, mentorship, and competency assessments for care staff.
- Delivering and coordinating specialist clinical training.
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, professional standards, and clinical governance requirements.
- Conducting clinical audits, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with GPs, community nursing teams, hospitals, commissioners, case managers, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Supporting business development by assisting with new care package assessments and mobilisations.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring robust risk management practices.
Essential Experience
Applicants must demonstrate substantial experience in managing and delivering complex clinical care services within a community, domiciliary, or specialist healthcare setting.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in:
- Managing or leading a complex care or specialist domiciliary care service.
- Assessing, implementing, and overseeing complex packages of care in the community.
- Supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries.
- Caring for people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
- Managing clients requiring invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
- Tracheostomy care and emergency management.
- PEG and enteral feeding.
- Catheter, bowel, and bladder management.
- Medication management, including complex medication regimes.
- Developing person-centred clinical care plans and comprehensive risk assessments.
- Training, supervising, and assessing the competency of healthcare assistants and support workers delivering specialist clinical interventions.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) teams, community nurses, therapists, consultants, and commissioners.
- Managing safeguarding concerns, clinical incidents, and quality assurance processes.
- Ensuring compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards, clinical governance, infection prevention and control, and best practice guidelines

- Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
- Cerebral Palsy
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Huntington's Disease
- Progressive neurological conditions
- Palliative and end-of-life care
- Continuing Healthcare (CHC)-funded packages
- Clinical service mobilisation and business growth within domiciliary care
