Job Summary
The Cat Show Live is the UK’s biggest cat‑themed exhibition, welcoming 6,500+ visitors, 150+ stands, and a full day of live programming. We are hiring experienced, flexible event crew for a fast‑paced, hands‑on show day.

Duties
This is a move‑where‑needed crew position. You may rotate between several areas depending on show demands:
- Entrance team & ticket scanning
- VIP welcome desk & guest handling
- Theatre support across three stages
- Introducing speakers (script provided)
- Brochure selling at the entrance
- Flyer handouts with brand partners
- Stewarding the Cat Village walkway
- Roaming information desk
- Quiet Zone support
- Queue management & general visitor assistance
- Any operational tasks required during the day
Flexibility is essential — you will be reassigned throughout the event.
Skills
- Proven experience in expos, exhibitions, live events, hospitality, stewarding, ticketing, VIP or promotional work
- 18+ with right to work in the UK
- Must attend Friday 11 September briefing
- Must be fully available Saturday 12 September
- Must live within reachable distance of the NEC
- Able to travel independently (no accommodation provided)
- Bring photo ID on the day
- Not suitable for people with cat allergies

- Fuel/train travel not reimbursed
- All Friday work (briefing + set‑up) paid at £15/hour
