Skanska Building Services manages one of the UK’s most prestigious MoD headquarters near Watford — a complex, high‑security site where we deliver hard, soft and technical FM services. Due to an internal promotion, we’re now looking for a new team member to join the SCIDA team in delivering essential network and communications infrastructure projects across the site.

We are currently looking for a Technical Projects Coordinator, you can expect to join a dynamic and developing team where everyone is valued and full training will be provided to enable you to grow and develop your skills and career in this highly rewarding role. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in administration, coordination or junior project support who wants to grow their career in IT, networks and technical project delivery.
As a Technical Project Coordinatorr, you wil:
You’ll work closely with SCIDA, CIS Projects and CIS Infrastructure teams to support the delivery of communications and information systems across the site.

Support SCIDA compliance — Assist with the site‑wide delivery of assigned projects, ensuring work adheres to strict MoD and SCIDA processes, help with annual site inspections and highlight non‑compliance issues.

Assist CIS project delivery — Learn end‑to‑end project processes, helping deliver small to medium CIS projects on time, to budget and to defined standards.

Support CIS infrastructure — Help coordinate installation works and ensure all infrastructure meets site technical standards.

Develop technical documentation — Contribute to reports, procedures and process documents used across the project, networking and infrastructure teams.

Engage with stakeholders — Represent the team in project and assurance meetings when required maintaining effective communications between projects and teams.
What you'll bring to the role:

A genuine interest in IT, networks, communications systems or technical project delivery

Strong organisation, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to produce clear and accurate written documentation and reports

Basic understanding of AutoCAD or Celsius configuration management (desirable but not essential as training will be given)

Familiarity with Office 365

Willingness to learn technical standards and processes

Ability to work professionally in a high‑security environment

Eligibility to obtain and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) – essential for this role - (you must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years)
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
