Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler/Packer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and packing finished products efficiently and accurately. Duties
- Assemble products using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to ensure precise construction.
- Pack finished items securely, adhering to quality standards and packaging specifications.
- Inspect components and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately recording parts used and completed units.
- Follow safety procedures at all times, including proper handling of tools and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assembly or warehouse environments is preferred but not essential.
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are highly desirable.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual tasks.
- Basic literacy skills for reading instructions and recording data.
- Prior experience with assembly or warehouse work will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in manufacturing processes within a supportive team environment, fostering skill development in assembly, packing, and quality control practices.
