The Role
CHX is creating the future of real estate investing. We are hiring for cognition, not credentials.
This 12-week paid internship isn’t about “getting experience” or just a placeholder on your CV. The premise of this internship is to progress to a full-time role thanks to clear targets and expectations. This is also reflected in our clear career progression and promotion criteria set out from the start, no guesswork or nepotism!
You'll work directly with the Head of Portfolio Development and the founding team. You will be the engine driving CHX’s outbound growth, sourcing landlord leads, pitching our AI-driven guaranteed rent model, and closing deals. You'll help build the commercial pipeline of a company growing fast through the biggest UK rental-market shift in 40 years.

What is CHX?
At $290 trillion, real estate is the largest asset class in the world. Yet rental income remains completely uncertain - vacancies, arrears and defaults.
CHX is an AI fintech that makes rental income certain for landlords and agencies. We guarantee rental income, paid from day one, whether the property is occupied or not. Our AI underwrites every deal, pricing income risk at the individual property level, something that was economically impossible before.
We are not a letting agent. We are not a property manager - our landlords and agents handle that themselves. We are a principal risk-bearing financial institution that happens to operate in residential real estate.
Responsibilities
- Execute relentless outbound outreach, sourcing high-quality landlord leads through cold calls, direct prospecting, and digital platforms.
- Conduct on-site property viewings and valuations to assess real estate opportunities against CHX's strict underwriting criteria.
- Pitch the CHX model directly to landlords, confidently navigating complex negotiations and handling sophisticated objections.
- Own your sales pipeline end-to-end, aggressively managing prospects from initial cold contact to signed, execution-ready contracts.
- Maintain flawless CRM discipline, logging every call, viewing, and pipeline stage in real time with zero slack.
- Hit and exceed explicit performance KPIs measured directly by calls made, offers structured, and total units signed.

The Renters' Rights Act takes effect in May 2026 - the most significant regulatory shift in UK private renting in 40 years. Section 21 goes. Advance rent gets banned. The operational burden on landlords increases dramatically. Every one of those changes makes CHX more valuable. This is the role where you ride that wave, not watch it from the shore.

What we're looking for?
- Intellectually Sharp. Elite intellect, preferably from a Top-tier university: Oxbridge, LSE, UCL, King's, Durham, or equivalent. Strong academic record, but crucially, you can apply that intellect commercially. Sharp generalists who think like dealmakers, not script-readers, are welcome to apply.
- Outbound DNA. You possess high mental resilliance and are completely comfortable picking up the phone to call a stranger who doesn't know you. Rejection doesn't dent your energy; it refines your next angle. You don't freeze under pressure or wait for hand-holding.
- A commercial thinker. You can reason from first principles. You understand leverage, upside, and landlord psychology. When a prospect objects, your reasoning gets sharper, your conviction grows, and you find the exact leverage needed to close the gap.
- Operationally disciplined. You manage your pipeline like a professional. You understand that a messy CRM, a missed follow-up, or poor market awareness costs the company deals. You act with extreme execution bias but maintain rigorous attention to detail.
- Mission-aligned. You're choosing the work over the title. You'd rather build something real at a fast-growing company than be an unknown at a big firm. You feel you are capable of more and want a chance to show it.
Comp Plan
Base Salary: £100 - £1000 per week
Performance Bonuses: Uncapped performance incentives per deal secured during the internship sprint.
Fast Track Conversion: Conversion to full time role upon successful internship completion or sooner for the best of the best.
Equity: Direct ownership stake in CHX granted upon transition to a full-time role.
