Peak Edge Hotel is an AA rated 4-star boutique hotel on the outskirts of Chesterfield, Derbyshire which boasts new state of the art two rosette kitchens, 27 bedrooms and stunning conference and banqueting suites. We host up to 130 weddings per annum within our charming 17th Century venue, boasting a recently renovated Oak Room; a new addition to our repertoire of wedding facilities, capturing the panoramic views across the Peak District.
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time (12-16 hours) Room Attendant to start as soon as possible with flexibility towards shifts including weekends.
Shift patterns are as follows -
Weekdays 10am to 2.30pm.
Weekends 10.30am to 3pm.
As a Room Attendant you will be responsible for the cleaning of the guest bedrooms and replenishing amenities to a 4* standard. You will also be required to manage guest requests. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to a high standard:
Duties:
- Making sure all rooms and commons areas are cleaned thoroughly in line with the high standards of the hotel
- Liaising with the head housekeeper when rooms are ready for guests
- Liaising with head housekeeper for additional duties
- Ensuring the equipment, you use is in good working condition and used safely and efficiently
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and health and safety
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Ensuring your cleaning products are fully stocked and used safely
- Be responsible for security of the areas you access
