Rocksalt serves the best locally sourced produce from along the Kent Coast and surrounding Countryside with a strong leaning towards Fish and Seafood, holding 2 AA Rosette's since its opening in 2011. The restaurant itself sits cantilevered over Folkestone harbour with stunning panoramic views out over the English Channel. The Restaurant also boasts a stunning bar area serving its own separate bar menu, garden terrace area with weekend barbecue cooking over live fire plus 4 beautifully restored guest rooms.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team under the management of Executive Chef Marcin Szelag and General Manager Leon Foissy, who both possess a wealth of experience gained from some of London and The South East's finest dining destinations.
We are looking for hardworking and creative industry professionals to join the team. We are ideally looking for a CDP Chef with at least 1 year experience in a high end, fast paced kitchen. We offer excellent opportunities to all of our chefs and encourage them to get involved with new menu ideas and work closely with the senior Chefs which encourages personal development. As part of the wider Rocksalt and Pickled Egg Pub Group, this is a fantastic opportunity for career progression within the company.
You must have a willingness to learn, the ability to remain calm under pressure and have great communication skills.
