Overview
Weardale Motor Services are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at our Crook depot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all company vehicles and premises, ensuring that all areas are tidy and welcoming. Role will also involve driving a vehicle on Home to School Transport.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming and windows on all company buses, coaches and vans.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dirt and debris.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- A proactive approach with a strong drive to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must have Category D driving licence
Work Schedule - Monday to Friday - 12pm to 7pm - Overtime available 7am - 9am to drive a vehicle on home to school transport
Overtime on Saturday required on occasion.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
