The Role
We are looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support an outgoing young man in his home environment on a 2:1 care basis.
He enjoys:
- Spending time with his family and care team
- Exploring the community
- Watching football (he’s a big Manchester United fan)
- Building Lego
- Playing PlayStation
- Listening to rap music
He is looking for someone who shares his interests and is happy to support him with activities, including occasional trips and holidays within the UK.
In this role, you will provide person-centred care, support his daily routines, and assist with clinical interventions. Night shifts will involve supporting his bedtime routine, delivering specialised care, and creating a calm, restful environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care
- Supporting with personal care respectfully and with dignity
- Administering medication as required
- Assisting with Moving & Handling
- Supporting daily routines and community access
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding to care needs
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilation management
- Oral suctioning
- Enteral feeding
What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3 months’ care experience
- Confident with medication, personal care, and Moving & Handling
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Comfortable working around pets
- Full UK driving licence
