We are a long-established, independent pub just outside Ross-on-Wye, serving drinks and freshly prepared homemade food.
We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic kitchen team member to join us to grow our friendly team. Our ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and about the food they are serving. You must be able work in a fast-paced busy environment, have the ability to work well as part of a team and have strong communication skills. Some of you're responsibilities will include preparation, cooking and presentation of our homemade food following family recipes, ensuring a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Duties to include within this role -
- Preparing ingredients and assist in cooking fresh food In accordance to recipes and standards.
- Support the kitchen team in meal preparation, assist with plating and presentation of dishes to meet quality standards ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards.
- Support serving staff during busy periods, ensuring smooth service flow when required.
- Restock supplies and ensure all ingredients are stored correctly to prevent contamination
- Confidence in a customer facing role occasionally.
