Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing, Heating, and Gas Engineer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing, heating systems, and gas appliances across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable systems that meet all safety standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances with precision and attention to detail
- Service heating systems such as boilers, radiators, and thermostats to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct gas safety checks and perform gas appliance installations in compliance with legal regulations and safety protocols
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems quickly and accurately
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project or service visit
- Travel extensively to various client sites and commercial locations using a company-provided vehicle
- Drive safe and maintain the company van in a clean, professional and roadworthy condition
- Work flexible hours during peak project periods, including overtime opertunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within residential or commercial environments
- Strong knowledge of heating systems including boilers, radiators, pumps, and thermostats
- Valid certification or licensing for gas work (e.g., Gas Safe registration or equivalent)
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and system adjustments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness and flexibility to travel, and stay away overnight when required for distant projects

Pay: £29,120.00-£40,040.00 per year
