The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Telehandler / Groundworker / Yard Operative to support our construction and site operations. The successful candidate will undertake a varied role involving telehandler operation, groundwork activities and general yard duties, ensuring materials, plant and equipment are available and maintained to support efficient site operations.Key Responsibilities
- Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.
- Load, unload and transport materials around site and yard areas.
- Assist with groundwork activities including drainage, excavation, concreting and site preparation.
- Carry out general labouring duties as required.
- Maintain clean, safe and organised working areas.
- Complete daily plant and equipment checks and report any defects.
- Support stock control and material storage activities.
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with site management and operational teams.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience operating a telehandler.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler certification.
- Experience working within a construction, civils or groundwork environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Reliable, proactive and able to work as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements
- CSCS Card.
- Groundworks experience.
- Experience operating additional plant machinery.
- First Aid qualification.
Pay: £15.47 per hour
