Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Room Leader to join our dedicated early childhood education team. Duties
- Lead daily activities within the toddler room, designing age-appropriate educational and play-based experiences that support developmental milestones
- Supervise and mentor assistant staff, providing guidance on best practices in childcare and early childhood education
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Organize and oversee routines such as meal times, naps, and outdoor play to promote consistency and security for children
- Manage classroom resources, including toys, educational materials, and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized environment
- Maintain accurate records of children’s development, attendance, and any incidents or concerns
Qualifications
- Proven management and leadership skills within early childhood settings or childcare environments
- Experience working with children, particularly in nursery or toddler-aged programs
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Childcare or nursery experience is highly desirable; relevant certifications are a plus
- Valid driving license is preferred for transporting children or supporting outdoor activities
- Ability to work actively on your feet for extended periods while maintaining a lively and positive attitude
