Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to uphold hygiene standards.
- to be able to work between our Bridgend & Porthcawl locations
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team in setting up workstations for service and clearing down after busy periods.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, functional, and stored correctly after use.
- Help with stock rotation and storage to keep ingredients fresh and accessible.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
- Support serving staff during busy service times by delivering food or clearing tables when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently during daytime hours in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities.
- A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food handling is advantageous.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
