An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a well-established regional housebuilder on a live residential development in Bolton.
This is an immediate requirement to provide site leadership while a permanent Site Manager completes their notice period, making it an ideal assignment for an experienced professional looking for their next contract.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating daily site activities.
- Maintaining programme and ensuring work progresses to agreed timescales.
- Driving Health & Safety standards across site.
- Managing quality inspections and NHBC compliance.
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider management team.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and customer-focused delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing new build residential developments.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work certificates.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Able to take ownership of an established site with minimal handover.
- Available to start immediately or at short notice.
